Join my Community Action Team and support your local area

I want to bring back a sense of civic pride and some good old fashioned hard work to our towns and villages, so join me on a community project near you!

I recently went out in Ollerton, on Dove Croft to be precise, to tackle a local issue that I'd heard about from local residents in one of my Residents' Surveys. I took a small team of volunteers (and my trusty hedgetrimmer) to tackle an overgrown walkway that was causing problems for the local people.

After an hours hard work and a well earned cup of tea, provided by a generous neighbour, the walkway was neat and tidy and residents could come and go easily and safely.

 

The feedback we received has been fantastic and I want to get out and make a difference like this across the whole constituency. I want to hear from you about local projects, from litter that needs picking to a community centre in need of a lick of paint, that I can come and help out with. 

I also need to recruit a team of helpful community minded people to come out with me and attack these local problems, and to make a real difference to the lives of the constituents who live there.
